Lauren

Senior Midwife and Reception

11 years ago when I graduated from Midwifery, I found that being a midwife is so much more than a job, it is truly a passion. I feel blessed to have worked with so many wonderful families. I am forever in awe at the amazing strength & ability that each woman possesses. To continue my development in all things Women’s Health I started my Lactation Consultancy course which I’m hoping to complete by mid 2023.

I am very lucky to be the mother of three children Ava (9), Ted (8) and Mac (5). 2023 is an exciting year for our family as our youngest will start Prep and be watched over by his brother and sister in the schoolyard.

Fun fact about Lauren: there needs to be a genetic study on my children as both my husband and I have dark hair and brown eyes we created:

Ava has Red hair, brown eyes

Ted has Red hair, green eyes

Mac has Red hair, blue eyes

The odds of having red hair with blue eyes is 0.17%… WOW!

Kate

Midwife and Reception

Kate has worked as a registered midwife for the last 9 years in hospitals and been a part of the Bae team for the last two years.

As a former Bae patient she knows how confusing it can be in the early stages of pregnancy sorting out your care and is very happy to take the time to explain the process when new mums call up to enquire.

When she’s not working, she spends her time chasing around her two beautiful daughters.

Sophie

Neonatal Nurse and Reception

As an experienced Neonatal Nurse and a Certified Infant and Child Sleep Consultant, Sophie has years of experience caring for and soothing babies, and has studied and applied a wide range of holistic, supportive approaches based on the science of sleep.

Sophie believes that the transition to parenthood is incredible. It is also a transition that most people are relatively unprepared for. While learning to look after their new babies, mothers are trying to recover from birth, regain strength and find a groove as a new family unit. Sophie’s goal is to nurture, guide and empower parents to understand their baby, and recognise and respond to their cues so they can transform this new challenge into a time of joy and wonder. Please feel free to ask her any questions when you are in the Clinic!

When she is not in the Clinic, Sophie is a wife and mother to three beautiful children. She loves seeing the world through their eyes, full of amazement and wonder. Sophie enjoys cooking, playing with her chocolate Labrador Poppy, and traveling.

I absolutely adore the natural beauty of pregnancy and love seeing all the babies in our clinic! I strive to create a welcoming, friendly environment for all patients, to make such a special journey as comfortable and supportive as possible.

In her spare time Mary loves to bake and is especially a fan of making cheesecakes!

Emma

Business and Psychology Student and Reception

Hi! My name is Emma and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Psychology at Deakin University. In the future I see myself working in management or marketing. I’m proud to say I work in the medical field, and hope to stay in the industry for as long as possible. I absolutely love supporting women through one of the most special journeys of their life and I admire the amazing women that we see at our clinic. I have a nurturing disposition, and hope to make your experience the best it possibly can be. I’m also the eldest of 3 girls, so I absolutely love girl power!
