Ebony would love to look after you, whether that be pre-pregnancy, during pregnancy, or post-partum.  Perhaps you do not desire a pregnancy? Ebony would be happy to look after your contraception needs too, including insertion of Mirena intra-uterine devices and Implanons.  Perhaps you’re struggling with pesky periods, or are battling troublesome menopause symptoms?  Wherever you are on your healthcare journey, Ebony is here to support you, and provide you with high quality, evidence based, patient-centred care.

During her extensive training in obstetrics and gynaecology, Ebony has been fortunate enough to train at numerous posts around the country, from Melbourne to Geraldton, to Far North Queensland.  Within Victoria, Ebony has gained invaluable experience at a number of major metropolitan hospitals and currently holds public positions at the Mercy Hospital for Women, the Royal Children’s Hospital and the Austin Hospital.

In addition to specialising in general obstetrics and gynaecology, Ebony has undertaken additional training in a number of areas.  She cares for women of all ages – including little ones, having completed a fellowship in paediatric and adolescent gynaecology at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne.  Ebony also has a passion for helping those women struggling with persistent pelvic pain, having undertaken extra training (and currently completing a Masters) in this area.

Outside of work, Ebony is the proud mother of two boys – one a cheeky toddler, and the other a protective big brother bulldog (with an underbite like no other). Ebony loves everything pink (even her stethoscope is pink!), appreciates sunshine, good coffee, and belting out a cheesy power ballad.

Mary

Student Nurse and Reception

Hello! My name is Mary. I am studying a Bachelor of Registered Nursing at Latrobe University, with big aspirations looking to become a midwife with future studies. Nursing and Midwifery has always been a dream of mine, as I look up to my Mum, Grannie, and Auntie who are all nurses. I absolutely adore the natural beauty of pregnancy and love seeing all the babies in our clinic! I strive to create a welcoming, friendly environment for all patients, to make such a special journey as comfortable and supportive as possible.

In her spare time Mary loves to bake and is especially a fan of making cheesecakes!

Emma

Business and Psychology Student and Practice Manager

Hi! My name is Emma and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Psychology at Deakin University. In the future I see myself working in management or marketing. I’m proud to say I work in the medical field, and hope to stay in the industry for as long as possible. I absolutely love supporting women through one of the most special journeys of their life and I admire the amazing women that we see at our clinic. I have a nurturing disposition, and hope to make your experience the best it possibly can be. I’m also the eldest of 3 girls, so I absolutely love girl power!

You’ll find me at the beach in warm weather and at the gym or with friends in spare time. I could also talk about babies and dogs all day long.

Holly

Hi! My name is Holly and I am currently completing my Bachelor of Midwifery at Australian Catholic University. I am very passionate about women’s health and love advocating for women and supporting them throughout their beautiful pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey. I have lots of experience in the world of Midwifery from my clinical placements and by working here at Bae!

I aim to be a warm and friendly face at the clinic, and to ensure all our patients have the best experience possible. Aside from studying, I enjoy playing in a social netball team, and I love to water-ski and wakeboard too!

Abby

Singer, Pilates instructor and Reception

I absolutely love working at Bae alongside such a beautiful team of women who care so much about what they do. It’s amazing to witness such a special time in people’s lives and be a part of supporting them through that journey.

My background is in performing arts, I studied a Diploma of Musical Theatre training in singing, dancing and acting, so don’t be surprised if you see me having a little sing along to the music in the waiting room. Outside of my job at the clinic I am also a pilates instructor, I love seeing people work hard and take on challenges in order to become the best version of themselves. Working at Bae has inspired me to further my pilates training and undertake my pre & postnatal course so that I am able to best support clients throughout their pregnancy.

One final, very important thing to know about me is that I am a dog mum to a gorgeous German Shepherd named Buddy. I could talk about him for days on end and will probably ask you if you’d like to see a photo of him!
